Today

The longest work out I've had thus far was last Thursday's. I stayed at the gym from 4pm until 9pm. Breaks included ofcourse. A little over an hour on the elliptical machine/EFX to start with, and 15 minutes to close the deal. In between, I did upper and lower body weight bearing exercises. Free weights, machine, lunges, circuit ab exercises c/o Jacque resident masochist. I would probably be able to do that on Monday again, tomorrow would be a short work out. I've started on Max Muscle Lean Day Time, it has a certain amount of caffeine in it, I guess not enough to mimic the effects of my favorite lethal combination of stimulants, namely cola and nicotine. What am I feeling, I am feeling rather acidic in the stomach, but unintersted in eating, I do not abhor food, it's just that I do not really think much of it. Weird! Psychological? I don't know exactly, but I need to do something about the acidity or else I might get a gastric ulceration. Bad. Things to improve on,...

Metamorphosis Chronicles 1

I am almost done doing a cleanup of my being, now, I am doing a cleanup of my system. Yes, I am another one of those sad stories (to those who claim to be physiologically well-off), I am in my late 20's, obese, morbidly. I am a smoker, I eat when I am bored, more so I love to cook when I am bored, and worst part is, I think I am really good with the cooking aspect(see my other blog jdeeskitch - will have some stuff up soon as I figure out what to feature). I have been smoking since my second year in college, that brings me to 8 years of smoking, I am capable of ingesting liquor, if only for the loss of inhibition and the messing around with one's proprioreceptor. I am currently working on straightening out my career path, it involves the rigors of weight loss, to allow me to get work at a prestigious hospital that pays an unjust salary. I am after the long-term benefits, and not the salary (nonetheless I hope it is enough for humane subsistence). I am one of those relatively-no...

Personal Assessment Aug 2008

Rebirth needs re-assessment of person, place and time: 1. I am my goal 2. Holistic well-being, psychological, physical, spiritual well-being 3. Better understanding of my line of work 4. Discipline 5. Lots of money 6. The ability to have lots of money and maintain it. 7. Happiness 8. The dynamism and the enthusiasm to keep it cool and to keep things moving. 9. To become an inspiration more than a threat or a subject of envy or hate. 10. To metamorphose (not into a bug). 11. After number 10, to get the job promised of me. 12. To have been able to finish all my paperwork prior to 11., but to have ample time to enjoy the fruits of number 10 during the reviews, examination and filing of paperwork. 13. To have the strength to continuously reach for my goal, to get up when I fall, and to eventually learn how not to fall to make progress faster.

Squinting at the Summit of a Goal Imaginable but Unseen

I am finally back where I want to be, Blogger, I only wish to write, wish to be read, wish to find others' insights on my thoughts. Intelligible insights I hope. Here and now I have to admit that there are so many things I have outgrown possibly due to age, circumstances or both. My first blog was Akheron, on it I wrote of emotional exploits, those jovially-unhappy days are over. Mountains to climb, wounds to bare, a vision to be lost and found, if indeed isolation for the moment is what I need to find the enlightenment that I so need in these, the years of my life, then I have already packed my gear, and I am taking that journey alone. Akheron is dead, and I, unnamed, am on my way. (Drum roll please!)
